This framed print captures the eerie beauty of the Rotblooms on the Planet of Kappa. Vast mats of strangling water hyacinth set off a cycle of decay and suffocation that chokes and poisons the water-column, suffocating and wiping out water breathing animals in mass die-offs. This creates a banquet of dead flesh for animals like the Glorm. It has just brought down another scavenger, a Blundrith, and defends its kill from a transient Ossipteroth. Meanwhile, massive herbivores, like the Chulnogroth, graze on this endless buffet of fast growing plant matter. With enough feeding, they will clear out this section of the river, and give smaller herbivores, like the Urfa, a chance to feed.
If you’d like this fictional natural phenomenon to decorate your wall, I’d be thrilled for it to find a home with you! This piece was deeply inspired by the paleoart of my childhood, and I hope it brings the same sense of wonder to your wall :)
